PHOTOs: The Capitol

Take a sneak peek at one of the playgrounds up north. The "Capitol", as the area is called, is located near the Benguet Provincial Capitol, and offers a picturesque view of the La Trinidad valley, as the photos will attest.

Baguio boys, you lucky guys, you!!
Safety reminder: While the breathtaking sights are tempting, interested boulderers are advised to check-in with the Baguio boys before going on a trip. The Capitol has been struck by flash floods in the past, so best to get word from the locals before heading out.

This looks amazing! Can't wait to get out there. Bouldering outside is my preferred method of climbing. Moving very soon to the Philippines, possibly to Baguio, as of Jan. 1st. Is there a climbing gym in Baguio or do you guys climb outside only?

Thanks Lacy! Currently no gym in Baguio, so yes, the guys climb outside only. But this is indeed a good season to do some outdoor climbing, so drop us a message at [email protected] so we can arrange for you to meet up with the local climbers :)

This is awesome! We are planning to visit Baguio City around June 1-3. Climbing is our hobby and would like to try bouldering in Baguio. It will be 4 of us. How do we do this? Thank you so much. You guys are fantastic!
